June 8 is the deadline to submit abstracts for PosterFest 2013: A Poster Session of Scholarship by Early Career Mathematicians and Graduate Students, to be held at Mathfest on Friday, August 2nd .
This popular poster session provides an excellent opportunity to display your mathematical and pedagogical research. Poster sessions have the distinct advantage of allowing you to network with several members of the mathematical community in a short time, so we hope you will consider participating even if you have not presented a poster before. This session is ideal for junior faculty seeking to present at a national conference and for graduate students who will be entering the job market this fall. Examples of scholarly activities suitable for this poster session include expository work, preliminary reports, scholarship of teaching and learning, and research reports. The deadline for submissions is June 8, but we encourage you to submit your abstract as soon as possible since space is limited.
Questions should be directed to Audrey Malagon at amalagon@vwc.edu. PosterFest is sponsored by the MAA Committee on Early Career Mathematicians, Graduate Student Committee, and the Young Mathematician’s Network
